Once you have your new site set up and ready to make you money, it is time to plan your promotional strategy. You do not have to go overboard in the beginning but you do have to initiate some for of promotions.

You have a couple of choices in terms of promoting your web business. I recommend a combination of all the choices presented here. First and foremost you have to realize that you can get many people to your site immediately by purchasing Google key word ads. You do not have to spend a lot to get a lot. One of the great features is that you can set a daily spending limit to ensure you never go above your means. Another pay per click service is overture. The word on the street is that soon MSN will launch its own service. I prefer Google adwords but Overture is also fine. You can use both services for a broader range of promotion.

You do not have to spend any money at all promoting your web business but it will take longer to get traffic. You can simply make sure that your site itself has content in it in terms of typed text. This will help the search engines 'read' your site and index it properly. Never try to trick the search engines or use shady tactics. You can and will get de-listed and probably never listed again. 

Finally you should look to trade links with other sites whom are in the same general industry. We can all make money together by cross linking and getting interested people to our web businesses. This of course does not cost any money and will bring in relevant and targeted customers. Again it will be slower then starting your own pay per click campaign but this should never be over looked. 

Remember to combine all of these methods and never spend more money then you have to. You will make money online. If you keep your site up and running you will make money forever. Going out and buying more sites and adding them to your network will net you even more income. Always use the proper promotional methods and you will be a big player in the web business.

I recommend buying complete sites. This will save you money and aggravations. You will be in a great position to immediately start promoting and making money online.
